" Behold, the answer to your prayers...and as promised- more than you could have ever imagined."
- Priest of the Slade/Headland WeddingFriday was spent driving to Akron, Ohio (yes, we were forced to be in Ohio for the opening of football season, I'll get to that later.) Chad, Kyle and I became really close friends as the result of a spring break trip my junior year in college. The next years would be full of late night trips to McDonalds, long nights in the UGLI sipping Starbucks, lunches on Tuesdays in the Union, concerts, weddings, endless conversations, and the boys filling out medical school applications together. Chad also joined Kyle and I on our 'unofficial' first date :) It seemed right that Kyle would be the one by Chad's side encouraging him to flirt with Christine over AIM messaging only three short years ago...
We could not be happier for them! Christine is an amazing women of God. Their ceremony was beautiful in every way. Chad's sister, Katie, belted out "Revelation Song" to the point of giving me chills and tears. Their passion for their faith, one another, and the ultimate reason they said "I Do" was evident throughout the entire day. It was an honor and a blessing (and ridiculously fun!) to watch these two tie the knot.
Appropriate. The only downside to Chad marrying Christine.. she is an Ohio State Buckeye fan. We put up with a lot of trash talk all weekend- proud as ever to be a Wolverine;)

...one night and early morning later... off to New Hampshire!
Audrey and I also met at UofM. I admire her for so many reasons, some of which being that she is one of the most encouraging, honest, and hilarious people I know. I have learned so much from her ability to encourage someone without any reservations, a rare and treasured quality.
One year ago a husband was only a prayer.Yes, God does answer prayers. This specific relationship is a example of that simple and powerful fact.
Tyler and Audrey worked together in NYC, and it did not take long to realize they were perfect for one another. Their outgoing personalities, hilarious sense of humor, and passion for spreading the Gospel only continued to solidify their relationship. One year later... they are husband and wife, beginning an entire new journey together! The bride & groom never stopped glowing! Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Slade!
