"Griffanie"

We made it back to Charlottesville safely, and we are so happy to be back for a few short days, just before we head off to Belize. That means that our suitcases have transitioned from the cool, spring weather clothing to swimsuits and shorts! It also means that our guest room is covered in way too many shoes and dresses. Can someone please explain to my husband that it is necessary to bring two dresses per day ;) Thank you, Delta, for one free check-in, who knows what I'd do without you!

While I am narrowing down our vacation wardrobe, let's back up to something way more important! April 21st - Griffanie's anniversary!

For as long as I can remember, Griffin and Stephanie have been referred to as "Griffanie. " They started dating in the days of "Brangelina," so it was only appropriate.
Griffin and Kyle have been best friends since 6th grade, with way too many memories to prove it - be assured that many were brought up during Kyle's best man speech.

Per usual, we spent the night barefoot on the dance floor. It's difficult to beat the amount of fun we have when everyone is together! Last time it was for Ben & Lynn's wedding in Ohio, and this time we paid tribute to the homeland: Grand Rapids. It never seems like enough time, but thankfully we will no longer be 12 hours away- so we will get spoiled with times like these more often!

I tried not to get in the photographers way during the ceremony, but I did manage to capture a few moments from my seat. (Hint: if you want to get pictures of the ceremony that are not the back of people's heads, sit at the end of the aisle...but don't get in the way of the hired photographer!)

Mr. and Mrs. Dixon!

The rest of the pictures are from random times throughout the night, including ones I found later due to some unnamed camera stealers (in my opinion, some of the best photos! It's always nice to not be the only one to take photos ;)

All of our husbands were in the wedding, so us wives enjoyed green jolly rancher drinks downtown and had deep conversations about grown up things, like shoes and houses.

The kind ITC guy took a few pictures from the balcony for me, so that I could flip the slides on the powerpoint. Yes, there was a full slideshow presentation of Griffin-isms, ending with none other than "Griffanie."

We can't wait for our family vacations and trips to Cincinnati to see you two!
