Dutch and Leslie's wedding at the Colonnade Club in Charlottesville.
Sweet would be the first word that comes to mind when thinking about these two. The way they look at one another, the way Dutch can make Leslie laugh (thanks for that, by the way;), the emotions that preceded the ceremony, the way Dutch's mother glowed with absolute joy when she saw Leslie, that smirk that comes across Dutch's face when he looks at his bride. Simply, beautifully- sweet.
It had rained the majority of the day and even though the ceremony was moved indoors, we were able to take advantage of the few times the sunshine came out and the rain diminished. The greatest part, neither the bride or groom cared about the rain or change of plans. They were simply overjoyed that it was finally their day! Thanks to Meghan from Shindig Events, the day came together flawlessly despite the last minute change of plans.
I loved photographing you two, Mr. & Mrs. Fox! Thanks for letting me be a part of your big day!
Here's a sneak peak of some of the images from April 28th!
A sweet moment right after they saw one another for the first time that day,
Then we took advantage of the clearing of the rain, and the gorgeous weather that followed...
LOVE!
Pat's Floral Design outdid themselves with the flowers for this wedding! To die for bouquets...
Right before the ceremony, a father of the bride in waiting...
And a few minutes later, Dutch watching his bride walk down the aisle. There were a few tears involved, including ones from the photographer ;)
Married and lovin' it!
The Colonnade Club!
JOY.
After the ceremony, all the guests gathered for heavy appetizers, cocktails, toasts and cake cutting. After that, the families went to The Local for dinner. But the party didn't end there, from dinner, everyone went out on the town until 2 am!
The details carried perfectly from the ceremony, to cocktail hour, and then to dinner.
Details are so fun to capture, but not nearly has fun as these two! Congrats Mr. & Mrs!!
