I mentioned last week that I'd finally post some photos of our growing boy this week! Well, we spent the past five days in Colorado so I'm cutting it close here. It's so strange to look through all of the images over the past six months, they are quickly taking up most of my storage on my hard drives (gladly) and each one I see Samuel differently. So many changes of expressions, capabilities and learning happening right before my eyes. It's incredible to say the least. It reminds me of how precious life is, how quickly it goes by, and how important it is to CAPTURE IT ALL!
Here are just a few of my favorites that I've captured as we've settled into a family of three.
Between exhaustion, visitors, and the reality of all that is giving birth, I managed to snap a few images of Samuel as a newborn, just hours after he was born. I think all of that hair explains my heartburn that Tums could never hold a candle to. (I wrote about Samuel's birth story on The Mitten Wife)
One month old:
This image was actually taken with my iPhone, and makes my heart crumble each time I look at it. My boys = my heart.
(This is his "what is the camera doing in my face" expression:)
It is so easy to capture the changes of expressions by just putting him on 'tummy time' and snapping away. 17 Weeks:
19 Weeks...see that chin tilt? He's learning to pose for him momma ;)
5.75 months old. Alllmoosstt sitting by himself, putting everything in sight into his mouth, smiling and talking like crazy.
