Part of my Labor Day weekend was spent alongside this amazing couple, documenting one of the biggest days of their lives. Lynn and Mike currently live in Seattle but having roots in Michigan, Lynn encouraged Mike to make Ann Arbor the place they would officially tie the knot. I'm glad they did :)
Organizing a large wedding from out of state can be quite the challenge, but these two engineers took it in stride and had everything planned to a tee. Mostly, they wanted to have fun and dance the night away, which is exactly what they did. From the moment I walked into the home to see Lynn getting her hair done, she exuded this calmness and joy - THIS was a day long in the making, and she simply couldn't wait to spend it with her best friend. From their first look to portraits, through the ceremony and until the sparklers waved around them, they were simply happy. Really happy. (and who doesn't want to work with a sweet couple like that?!! They made my job easy & fun!)
Mike and Lynn chose to see one another prior to the ceremony...and that smile on Mike's face never faded.
I can't get enough of Lynn's dress- so perfectly elegant!
You would never know that it was 90 degrees outside with 100% humidity. We spent our time before the ceremony taking pictures at the Law Quad, taking breaks in shade and dodging the students moving into their dorms. All worth it for this picturesque location.
The Michigan Union provided a perfect backdrop for a night full of dancing, delicious food and even better desserts!
We ducked out of dinner for a few quick moments, and the light spoiled us!
If any readers need assistance planning a wedding party dance that will knock your guests socks off, Lynn may be for hire ;)
Absolutely loved spending the day with you two! Cheers to great, great things ahead!
